Morris, IL | I think this greatly depends what rest of N program is. If Sidedress 30+ minimum I think. Some stuff I read from Emerson at illinois says need 10-12 if indexed perfectly and don’t loose any. We all know that’s not real world and says 30-50lb near the row is best in all postplant nitrogen program.
If your dad is like mine won’t matter what you say just do yours way you want. Assuming you sidedress that same 28 and thiosulfate you have to get that product on somehow anyway. But I get it I seems to spend way too much time loading liquid to planter myself. | |
