Subject: RE: Don't freak out about the additional acres

SE Arkansas
Brazil just had a record Soybean Crop due to increased acres. The price of soybeans subsequently rose. Presumably, some of these acres came at the expense of Sugarcane. Sugarcane production and consequently Ethanol Production in Brazil is going to be down 25 percent. There is already a worldwide shortage of Ethanol and Crude Oil will probably be at $80 in the coming months, so our Ethanol Plants will be running full speed and will probably need and extra 500 Million Bushels for their very profitable business as US Gasoline Demand sets records. With the shortage of Soybeans, the DDG price should hang right in there. Now, China's Sow Herd is at 97.5 percent of pre-ASF and they are not feeding Swill any more. The Brazilians are in the middle of a Corn Crop Failure even with additional Safrina Acres. They are totally out of Corn and have wiped out their neighbors supplies as well. Their Corn available for export will be way down. China is having a hard time getting their crop in because of wet conditions. Are you guys feeling any better? There will be ample demand for every grain that you guys can grow. This is at least a 3 year cycle IMHO. And this is just a hunch, but I bet when history is written 10 months from now, we will find out that the 2021-22 carryin is less than 1 Billion Bushels. Never going to be another poor day on the farm!!!!!
