We sell direct to consumer, and a restaurant, and two small butcher shops. Here we have lots of dairy, chicken, hog and row crops to compete with as well. Its not easy, but doing the grass fed beef allows s to make a fair living in an area where starting a farm from scratch is nearly impossible anymore.
