At work they have several steam lines that are asbestos insulated.  To remove enough to make 4 cuts in a 30 inch line.   They had a company come from 3 hours away.   About a days worth of paperwork,  the certified guys wore tyvek suits, full face respirators, they double bagged it, bags had warning tape on them, guys had to shower after removal.   Seems like it took 6-8 hours to remove what normally would take an hour with all the BS.
