Can you expand on the comment a little?
I really run an 8222 l, similar to a 1760, and quite satisfied with it as a notill planter ( mostly silt loam).
For the OP, cleansweep and a little lift on them is just the ticket here. Get into some heavy residue and in seconds some down pressure can be applied. Would give up some other things before the cleansweep.
