Maybe it would be best for you to come down to Texas and spend a minimum of six months working cattle and doing general farm & ranch work out in the open with no trees such as in West TX. But wait until June before coming down. It’s best for you to get some real exposure to the heat and dust. You can’t retreat to the air conditioned cabs when it gets good and hot. We need you out on horseback and fixing fences too. Maybe just maybe after six months you’ll begin to understand that there is such a thing as cowboy hats designed for functionality and the people wearing them for function and not looks. It’s a real thing.
