The older E-sets do very good as well, mine are actually regular JD vac. meters that were converted over with the new parts inside. Makes it easy to run either style plate if you feel so inclined but would not go back for corn, much easier to set now. Still can fine tune some with the vac. levels to balance out the skips or multiples, but it isn't as picky, and if it varies a bit (going up or down a hill and engine speed change... running a PTO pump for mine.) it still does a very nice job.
