EC Nebraska | In Nebraska, from what I've been told, you have to go to the county sheriff and fill out some paperwork, probably pay a small fee. They then send a notification to the last known address of the owner. After a certain amount of time, 3-4 weeks or something like that, if there is no response the sheriff will give you title to the property.
Or, at least, that was the way I understood it. | |
