S Illinois | Why would they pay you 20% more with crypto currency. This only works if they either are stuck with crypto currency they can’t get rid(money laundering anyone) of or they feel that crypto is overvalued in relation to dollars otherwise it would be stupid for them to pay more. There is no tax saving by paying in crypto because it’s an expense they can use for a deduction. It’s reminds me a little of the gold sellers pitch of it’s only going up. Ok if that’s true why sell what you have.
I call BS on this situation.
Edit: Spelling. Likely a tax evasion play l, pay under the table thing. Lowest corporate tax rate Dina long time and they are still wanting to play games sounds like bad news.
