I bet Uncle Sam reels in this crypto currency thing pretty quickly.
Legally you are supposed to now. When I was trading it and making money I reported and paid taxes on my gains. If you use an exchange to convert the crypto to cash the transaction is reported now I think or at a minimum is trackable. If one person pays another in crypto it isn’t much different than paying them in cash. No real easy way to trace it. Yes the government wants desperately to get their greedy hands on it but Bitcoin has been around over ten years and they haven’t figured out how yet. |
