| Im in a similarboat to you: sprayed about 1500 a year with a homemade 250 gallon 3 point, just this year moved to a 400 gallon 3point (did it mostly for the hydraulic booms, sucks getting old). 60' wide might help you some, but the biggest efficiency improvement i did was a simple tip change and run 5-8 gallons of water per acre, could get alot more done with no real downside (perhaps that is a "here" thing).
Admittedly hard to beat the price/performance of a decent old pulltype. I always thought the old hardi with walking beam axels looked good for cheap. Personally i dont think a spraycoupe would be much of an upgrade for the money on or your acreage. Just my opinion. | |
