Subject: RE: sprayer options for small farm

Northeastern Pa.
I know Hardi isn't well received on here but I started out with an old yellow devil. I bought my Hardi TL300 pull type and thought I died and went to heaven. Two years ago I bought a 550 Ranger at an auction that was like new. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles but it has hydraulic booms. It covers 300+ acres 2x a season with no issues. I use 28% as my carrier so it's hauling extra weight.. The old TL300 still does the side dressing with drop hoses.
I was going to buy a new Crop Care 500 but it just isn't as well made to handle the weight of 28%. If your only hauling water a Crop Care would be fine and isn't metric like the Hardi.
I always said if Hardi made other equipment I'd buy it.
