Where were all these hospital beds taken up? Must be a CDN thing. Did not happen here. In fact, hospitals were complaining last year, even prior to vaccine, that business was down terribly. No one was having elective procedures done. Our Illinois governor Pritzker had the very large McCormick place (trade shows, etc) converted to a 5000 bed hospital in anticipation of the onslaught of Covid cases. Nurses were hired on contract and paid $90 per hour!!!!!! After 6 months it was declared a total stupid idea and a failure. They had 0.0 Covid patients check in.

So, where were these busting at the seams hospitals due to Covid?
