NC Indiana
Are you taking a pasture grass - annual ryegrass, or a winter cereal rye (bigger version of wheat). At 50 pound per acre your way to high for ARG and kind of light for feed on cereal rye. Mow it and make baleage or silage out of it depending on what you're set up for, then plant it. If cereal rye, you should be done with it at that point. If ARG, it will regrow and you will need spray gly burn down and to make sure your water is Ph'd correctly to get a good kill. I had an agronomist recommend rigging for night spraying and putting gramazone on it to, but I've never dared try it.
