Stearns County, Minnesota | Dave Cen.Ia - 5/4/2021 09:07 I didn't want to derail the thread below but I am interested in a disease resistant tomato. Seems like we are always fighting blight. Once it hits we are spraying for it often and the yield goes straight to heck. Last year we tried growing in lick tubs, new potting soil, water from the soil not sprayed on the plant. It was very dry here last year, very little rain so not much soil splashing up on the plants, etc. Still fought blight from mid July on. Are there any varieties that are much heartier? We love tomatoes but the success growing them here is getting frustrating. The two choices for me is Celebrity and Early Girl, for fighting blight in tomatoes. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Celebrity_tomato https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Early_Girl
