Sw mn | My plan is to maintain control of as many unpriced cattle as I can with out feeding corn.
Some day their will be a $400 per head profit in feeding cattle again. When this day comes I’m going to sell out. I will only buy back it if I can lock in a margin. If I cant I plan to sit empty until after the crash.
Top reason to not have a barn payment.
My dirt lot is the real money maker of the operation because I can let it sit empty of fill it with 200 head and only cost $30,000.
From what I have seen the best time to get into cattle is when everyone has lost a lot of money and the best time to get out is after making a killing. | |
