This is all too obvious. I think folks are getting the pockets padded and this just helps to run livestock producers out of business which is what they want.
I kind of disagree. If they are making these big profits as is why run anyone out and make supplies tighter therefore possibly having to pay more? Just a thought.
Because the supply won’t change. The same number of cattle will be there. It will just go from 1000 independent cash market guys to 100 contract guys that the packers can easily keep under their thumb.
Tyson is out of the market for the week.
