You’re on right path, don’t wait too long as the wheat stops up taking moisture, then it’ll never dry out. And don’t let the wheat mature too far or you’ll have wheat in your harvested beans. Delong in Edgerton likes to reject that. Monitor it, often that ground at times in May is dryer or more forgiving to plant.
