Subject: Planting beans into wheat cover

E. Kansas
What would be the best way to proceed with planting beans into volunteer wheat? I'm a little nervous as I have never done anything like this before. I'm shooting for planting Enlist beans into this the last couple weeks of May or the first week of June, depending on weather. My plan has been to spray my burndown and residual a few days before planting, as long as there is no chance of rain and then plant. Or would you recommend planting into it green and then spraying? We are wet here and it does not look like the rain is going to stop any time soon. The wheat is not overly thick and is about ready to start heading. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
