Put beans in yesterday on my sand ground. Its weird dirt, powder dry on top inch, nice warm moist sand below. Working the clay corn ground today, plenty of moisture coming up. I see no reason not to plant corn tomorrow and go right into beans.
I'm in a weird area that needs a dry May to get good roots under everything, once they've rooted good its pretty hard to kill this crop.
