Frytown, Iowa | I have a landlord that rents me part of his lot which ties into one of my fields. His lot is less than 10 ac and he works in town. He wants to buy a skid loader and has one nailed down to buy. Calls me to know if he needs to pay sales tax. He’s getting mixed answers between a few people whether he can file tax exempt and even if he can deprecate out the purchase.
