Big Iron has had their head up their tails for years.

I went around the table with them more than once on sales taxes.

Sales taxes are ruled by the state in which the item is located when purchased, and then an ag exemption letter for that state (if ag exempt) handles it.  Big Iron just did not want to honor the exemption, because it was not "convenient" for them.

Big IRon wanted me to pay the tax, and then go to the state and get it back.
When I told "Susie" what the rules were for that state, and emailed a copy of that state's website----which was very clear------ Susie's superior folded like a leaf.  It might have helped that I insisted on talking with one of the Stock Bros---------I think that was the owners' name at that time.

It obviously helped that I knew exactly beforehand what the law said.
