A lot of people could live a fulfilling life living on a lot less than we do.

Doesn't mean we want to or will, but we could. A lot of it would be attitude.

I remember a story from my dad about a guy he admired in his youth. He said whatever the situation the guy was in or what kind of work he was doing, he always seemed to enjoy life and have a positive attitude. He could be loading manure with a pitch fork and still be a happy satisfied person. That story always stuck with me that my dad would appreciate someone who could always have a positive attitude about life and not wallow in self pity because he might not have what someone else had that he didn't.
