Coles County, Illinois | I'm using the same u-blox f9p chip in my RTK receiver and I get NO VTG when I stop out of my Envizio Pro II. I believe there is a work around involving these three configuration settings:
CFG-NMEA-OUT_FROZENCOG
CFG-ODO-VELLPGAIN
CFG-ODO-COGLPGAIN
I plan to "play around" with these filters when things calm down.
So far it's only been an issue trying to calibrate the accelerometers so I do them with the original receiver. I have realized configuring these receivers isn't for the faint hearted. Thankfully, I save successful improvements and can reload them quickly when things go awry. Just don't shut the UBX protocol off on the USB UART.
