sc kansas | The distance was my question. They told me they were for rvs etc and my rv is 36 foot. They said it would work. I took it home and put it on. It works. I have not had it in a field yet but think it should be fine. (rough ground?) With it on the end of a corner auger it still works folded back which would be about 2 or 3 feet behind the cart. I wish I had a year under its belt to tell you how well for sure but as of now it looks great. I thought it was so cheap I could give it a try. Nice thing about walmart is take it back if you dont like it.
