I have never done it but have seen tons of it baled with small square balers.
When I was stationed at Fort Bragg NC we saw people out in the woods doing it all the time. On a large scale. Hauled it out of there by the trailer load. I guess they had the blessing of someone but we never asked any questions. I`m sure it was sold for landscaping purposes.
