Subject: clunking noise in 9170 when steering

Boone, Iowa
I had a high pressure steering hose start leaking the other day. Replaced hose and continued field cultivating. Now I notice with the autosteer on, I get a clunking noise from what sounds like below the cab. If I turn the autosteer off and I steer manually, the noise is not as often. Had someone watch while I was turning the steering wheel. The only place where there appears to be any slop is the bolt that is right behind and above the bolt that holds the front of the drawbar onto the tractor. I have notice the past few years that I can feel some play when coming to a stop sign and applying the brakes. I always thought it was the hinge pins, but they seem tight, along with the pins that hold the steering cylinders on. Anyone else have this problem? I am thinking there is a bushing behind this bolt and curious what it is going to take to fix. Thanks.
