Is there a fairly easy way to make pickled onions, just to have in fridge rather than canning. I assume, slice and cover with vinegar and spices. Cabbages and onions seemed to be the only veggies to survive the freeze. Citrus could be a mess long term. Grower told me that just because it survives and put on some fruit in '22, it may taste bad??????
