Southern MN | Talked to a person who talked to a person who said some large farmers are done with corn in the Grand Meadow area of MN. I am all for early planting and wouldn’t be to scared to have some acres in, but in MN we have never had corn planted first 10 days of April be our best, but it has been our worst. There is a real seed shortage, especially for corn, although it would take a pretty major weather event to force a replanting in our area. I am sure some corn and probably soy went in last weekend will be interesting how it turns out. | |
