Ft. Ripley MN | It’s possible but I would say you will end up breaking something. A friends uncle had a t8.275 on a 3975 with a 3 row head. He kept breaking the pto driveline. He is known to push his equipment though. I’m not 100 % sure but I believe his was also the category 5 not the category 6 machine so it wasn’t made to handle the power. Traded that tractor for a magnum 250 and decided to just chop with his 145 puma tractor.
Far as chopping with duals we have chopped with a 3955 and a 2 row head with duals on. It’s tight but easy enough to do.
I would say slow going will be your ticket. If you want to set land speed records I think a new holland fp240 or a dion chopper would be the ticket
