ND | It’s bad here. It started last spring. We had ample subsoil moisture from all the rain we got the fall of 2019. Save for a 10 day stretch the beginning of July last summer, we got very little rain all year in 2020. The fall, winter and now spilling into spring has been dry with maybe 6 inches of snow all winter. We’re still early but there are no signs of a change coming. It’s gonna be rough trying to scrape feed together if we stay on this path. We typically are semi-arid but always have some snow melt to get grass going and seed to germinate. Not this year. | |
