45th parallel MI | Last fall was dry, first year I ever chisel plowed after carrot harvest (November). Avg. snowfall is 120”, we got 40”. Half of that was in February, just a dusting in the last month.
So, pretty bad. All of our cash crops are irrigated, but the hay and pasture are going to look pretty sick if we don’t get rain (or snow).
I keep telling myself it’s still early, but I’ll be really worried in a couple weeks if nothing changes. | |
