So why do you like using a debit card? Or what are the advantages?
Not going in to debt? No way to spend more than you have? No chance of accidentally making a late credit card payment and getting hit with fees?
For some people they can use credit cards with no issues and pay them in full each month. For most Americans this isn’t the case. These credit card companies would not exist and have their huge skyscrapers if a lot of people were not paying them a ton of interest.
The reason they let you use their cards for free and pay them with no interest at the end of the billing cycle is they know statistically you will likely slip up sooner or later and they will have you on the hook.
