Just the right amount of sour cream in your mashed tators is pretty dang good.................almost can't distinguish what the flavor change is from. Don't have a clue on the apple sauce deal..........LOL.
Cream cheese added at equal portion with butter makes really good mashed potatoes.
Then the next day, add chopped green onions, chopped up bacon, shredded pepper jack cheese, some flour, and some Slap Your Momma seasoning, and fry it up into some of the best potato pancakes. |
