Wisconsin | that would be a pressure tank, or a water tower to store water under pressure. Usually they're required for firefighting purposes, and not used unless required, as it's cheaper to pump water as needed than to store it.
If the problem with the well is low level and low production, then a normal cistern makes sense. If the pump is unreliable, then you can put two pumps in a six inch casing. Otherwise, you already have two systems, how much do you need a third?
Another option might be developing the well, I don't know what they do in your area. | |
