Subject: Re: Variable Rate N using Site Mate VRA

I have been using Site Mate to control a Raven 440 NH3 system for 3 or 4 years. It is on a DMI 19 shank aplicator. I also use SM to drive my Mid-Tech controller in the dry truck. After some initial problems, everything has been working great. I need to add a second heat exchanger - I don't have enough capacity to run full speed if I run into some especially high rate grids.

I don't know what you are running SM on, but if using a handheld such as an iPaq I would recommend getting a newer one. The older ones (39XX series) seem to run short on memory in larger fields and can cause some problems in that regard. And the expansion packs occasionally loose contact after too much bouncing and vibration. Something with a built-in card slot solves that problem as well. Good luck!
