I don't know your level of skill but this is really easy. I was a JD mechanic for over 20 years. Remove the bolt and get another just like it. With a 1/2" drill make a counter sink divot in the bolt to let your puller point set. Then use a 2 bar puller clean the threads in the dampner first. When you install the new dampner you might have to use a longer bolt to start it.
