In Iowa, if you or a farm hand is hauling your own grain, you need nothing more than a standard class C (basic) driver's license. 16 year old neighbor kid or 82 yr old gramma can leagally drive my tandem. No matter if air brakes or GVW. Straight trucks only. Semis a whole different ball game.
CDL for farm trucks............??
