Gene,nice.You could take a length of say 4 inch wide cut 45 degree edges ,slide into that corner and use it as a cover for your wire chase.just shoot a couple wire brads in with your brad nailer so you can pop off if need.I did not know any clear coat would prevent yellowing of pine unless you mixed in a bit of white latex,,,we call it pickling,,,
