| I'm nearly certain it won't work in Australia, or at least you wouldn't want to use it if it did. From what I can tell, Australia has no SBAS system in place yet, so nothing that's the equivalent of WAAS or EGNOS. So depending on how the Extender is functioning you might be able to steer, without SF1 you'd only get 3D GPS, which is nowhere near as accurate as WAAS. Maybe half as accurate. 2-3 feet pass to pass. The code I wrote to steer with WAAS explicitly looks for WAAS quality and only enable steering if it finds it. | |
