Because in the Deere world, there are inertial sensors inside the receiver (tilt sensor and yaw sensor). Most other systems have those sensors in the steering controller. They need to be with the receiver for the Deere steering system to work. The only company that ever had something like this was Leica with the MojoRTK, but that unit was discontinued.
