Tractor sitting outside with rear window facing south.
I figure the bright sun warmed interior and glass up to near zero (32*F) and frame was still -30 or less.
And a chip or imperfection and it couldn't handle the stress.
It was ok just before dark, next morning about 11am I noticed it.
Rear window on a NH T9040HD 4WD tractor.
Only a handfull of glass inside, pieces a good 12 feet away around rear of tractor.
$1,200 Canadian for the glass!! | |
