Do you have the headgate attached to the pipe? I always just put a few bolts to attached it and like the other poster said used roofing tar. Mostly because I had a old 5 gallon bucket of it. Here in our soil’s we would have to put a big head wall on it or else use a really long pipe to keep them from washing out alongside the tube.
