West Tennessee | 15ft drill? 3 passes is what we do also with our 15 and now 20ft drill and have for many years. I can do it with 2 passes but it is REALLY tight to turn and get up and down in that short length. We don't lift until the back gang is into the headland. So there is a fair amount of overplanting there. We also put the drill down as soon as we're turned around and close to straight. Very rarely have any skips but like I said, lots of double planting.
