| Four headland passes here with a 20 ft drill. Still using markers, no gps. When I pass my marker line from my last headland pass I pick up my marker, usually by the time it's up I'm into the headland, once the gangs are in the headland I pick up, big wide sweeping turn that allows me to be lined up for the second pass before I'm into the unseeded area, gangs down right at the edge then marker down right away. There's a bit of overseeding, but everybody can see your misses, nobody can see your overlaps. When I no-till into stubble I go perpendicular to the last rows, The seeder lays the stubble down that way and you can clearly see the last pass. | |
