Wabash county,Il | Was walking through the grocery store with my wife Sunday and thought I saw a mistake in the milk coolers. That’s $46-53.37/100 store label- name brand.
Now I know the processor and grocery have to make some profit but damn.
Now this would not be my farms milk but I’m sure their not getting paid that much more than me. Last month we were @$17 (before trucking, advertising, etc). Makes a fellow scratch his head when it’s zero out, snowing, or 100 in the shade. Seems like we are just working ourselves into the ground to give everyone else a good living.
