Southeast Colorado | That dang time factor that you have to pay for in options makes it hard to accomplish what you're after. If you get lucky it'll work out. If the market just chugs along like normal then the time value just disappears..........and you're stuck paying the bill.
And right now she's talking 2023.............that's a LOT of time you'll be paying for. But hey, if you've got some money you don't mind risking............why not??
What's a 2023 at the money wheat option selling for right now? EDIT: Looks like 40 to 45 cents on a Dec 23 Corn call. 10 cents for a $6 call that's $1.80 out of the money. Can't even see a wheat option price for some reason.
So if you really think that Corn is going to $20. It'd only cost you $500 for each $70k you're about to rake in!
