Subject: Cutting the cord, as if this hasn't been beat to death yet

Amherst WI
Every few months the local telephone company raises prices on their bundle. My wife seems to reach her limit every few months when this happens, but we don't do anything about it.

The other day we weren't able to fast forward through paused TV anymore ( to get through commercials). I contacted the phone co and they said they can't change that, so now I am at my limit with their bundle. We are paying close to $200 per month for the bundle that include basic cable, a phone nobody answers and the slowest fiber internet they have.

We watch the following channels mostly

Disney
Nickelodeon
History
Weather Channel
Paramount Network
AHC
Nat Geo
Bravo
Discovery
HGTV

What streaming services would cover this? I assume Discovery plus and Disney Plus would catch most of them?

I guess if this doesn't work we can always crawl back. We already have Netflix.

What about cellular hotspots? What do those usually run a month for unlimited data?
