Edit, to answer your other question. Ultra sounding, hired my dairy farming neighbor. He’s SDSU educated and very on top of his herd, Top Notch dairyman. He said, he can tell if bred or not very easily 35 days after bred. Can see a visible heartbeat...(main reason I’m a republican!). He said it’s easier to tell when the cow is due as a short bred vs. close up. I have no clue. I did put a glove on and felt a few! Neat! First one, reached in and felt the toes. Makes a guy smile! I’m learning.
