But before you hand over a lot more cash for receivers, unlocks and go through the trouble of setting up and managing your own station, consider DigiFarm's options. I have their modem service for a couple years and have been very pleased. I did try the Bluetooth Beacon and found it to be unreliable as I have several fields with weak cell service. Best part with the modem is, you can go pretty much anywhere with it as long as DigiFarm has coverage. No 5 mile limits or anything of that sort.
